We stand behind that performance with our LEGACY Warranty. Simple, local support from a South African team that understands how our products are used.

What We Cover

Riflescopes

  • All AKRA riflescopes are backed by a Full Lifetime Warranty.
  • If your riflescope develops a manufacturing defect in its optical system, mechanics, or construction, we'll repair it or replace it.

Dot Optics

  • Housing & Optical System (Glass/Lenses): Lifetime Warranty
  • If there's a manufacturing defect in the housing or optical system, we'll repair or replace it.

Electronics & Illumination: 2-Year Warranty

  • If the electronics, illumination system, or reticle fail due to a manufacturing defect, we've got you covered.

Rangefinding Binoculars

  • Housing & Optical System: Lifetime Warranty
  • Electronics (Rangefinder, Display & Electronic Components): 2-Year Warranty

ORIGIN X Combat

  • The ORIGIN X Combat is backed by a Full Lifetime Warranty, including electronics.

No split coverage. No compromises.

When we confirm a covered defect, we'll repair your product or replace it with the same model, an equivalent model, or something better if necessary. There is no charge for the repair or replacement itself.

What We Don't Cover

  • We're upfront about the limits.
  • Normal wear from real use, including finish wear, cosmetic marks, battery depletion, and general signs of use.
  • Damage caused by drops, impacts, incorrect mounting, misuse, abuse, neglect, poor maintenance, or modifications.
  • Damage caused by using the product outside its intended purpose or design limits.
  • Issues caused by environmental conditions beyond the product's specified operating limits.
  • Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the product's performance.
  • If anyone other than AKRA or an authorised service provider opens, modifies, or attempts to repair the product, the warranty becomes void.

How To Submit A Warranty Claim

Email us at info@akraoptics.com with:

  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos or videos of the problem (these help a lot)
  • Your proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)

You are responsible for shipping the product to us, including any insurance or courier fees.

If the claim is approved, we'll repair or replace the product and cover the return shipping.

Because all support is handled locally in South Africa, we aim to keep the process as quick and straightforward as possible.

Final Word

This is our commitment to you. No hidden clauses. No confusing fine print.

Our responsibility is limited to repairing or replacing the product as described above, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We cannot cover any indirect costs, losses, downtime, or consequential damages.
